JETDOC PTY LTD – TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. QUOTATION VALIDITY
All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.. Any changes in parts availability or supplier pricing after the validity period may require a revised quotation.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTATION
Acceptance of a quotation, whether in writing, by email, text message or other agreed communication, constitutes acceptance of the quoted scope of work and these Terms & Conditions. Work will be scheduled following confirmation of acceptance and receipt of any agreed deposit.
3. SCOPE OF WORK
The quotation covers only the work, parts and services specifically listed. Any additional work identified during inspection, diagnosis or repair will be communicated to the customer and requires approval before proceeding. JETDOC reserves the right to revise the quotation where previously unidentified faults or circumstances materially affect the original scope of work.
4. DIAGNOSTICS & UNFORESEEN FAULTS
Diagnostic assessments are based on the symptoms, information and conditions available at the time of inspection. Intermittent, concealed or multiple faults may require further investigation. Identifying or rectifying one fault does not necessarily resolve other underlying or unrelated issues. Any further diagnostic work or repairs outside the original scope will be quoted separately.
5. PARTS & MATERIALS
Parts supplied will be new unless otherwise agreed. Where appropriate, genuine OEM or quality aftermarket components may be offered. Special-order parts may require a deposit. Lead times are subject to supplier availability and are outside JETDOC's direct control. Any applicable manufacturer warranties on supplied parts will be passed on to the customer. JETDOC accepts no responsibility for the quality, suitability, compatibility or warranty of customer-supplied parts, and any additional labour or costs arising from defective or unsuitable components will be quoted separately and require customer approval.
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the watercraft is accessible, reasonably clean and available at the agreed location and time. The customer must disclose any known faults, previous repairs, modifications, damage or relevant operating history that may affect the work. The customer must also ensure that the watercraft is legally owned or that they are authorised to approve the requested work.
7. TESTING & SEA TRIALS
Where required, operational testing, engine running or water testing may form part of the diagnostic or repair process. Such testing will be discussed with the customer beforehand and is subject to suitable conditions, safe access and appropriate facilities. The customer acknowledges that the watercraft, trailers and associated equipment are mechanical systems subject to inherent risks of failure, malfunction and damage, including failures that may occur during or following testing.
Testing is not a guarantee of the overall condition, reliability, safety or future performance of the PWC or trailer, nor does it constitute a comprehensive inspection or certification of all components and systems. JETDOC shall not be responsible for failures, breakdowns, damage or consequential losses arising from pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, component deterioration, material fatigue, defective third-party or customer-supplied components, or circumstances beyond JETDOC's reasonable control.
The customer acknowledges that the replacement or repair of individual components does not guarantee the reliability or continued operation of other existing components or systems. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any liability, consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Australian law.
8. PAYMENT TERMS
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work and prior to collection or release of the watercraft. Deposits or progress payments may be required for special-order parts or larger jobs, as specified in the quotation. JETDOC reserves the right to suspend further work where agreed payments are overdue.
9. CANCELLATIONS & STORAGE
Customers are requested to provide reasonable notice of any cancellation or rescheduling. Any reasonable costs already incurred for specifically ordered parts, completed work or non-recoverable expenses may be payable. Where a completed job or watercraft is not collected within an agreed period, reasonable storage charges may apply, provided these have been communicated and agreed beforehand.
10. WORKMANSHIP & PARTS WARRANTY
JETDOC stands behind the quality of its workmanship. Any applicable workmanship warranty or specific warranty period will be stated on the quotation or invoice. Manufacturer warranties on supplied components are subject to the respective manufacturer's terms. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to the customer under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS & MODIFICATIONS
JETDOC is not responsible for pre-existing faults, defects, deterioration or damage unrelated to the work undertaken. Older, modified or previously repaired watercraft may present additional complications during servicing or repair. Where an existing condition is identified that may affect the requested work or the safe operation of the watercraft, the customer will be notified.
12. LIABILITY & CONSUMER RIGHTS
JETDOC will exercise due care and skill in carrying out all work. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia, subject to any applicable consumer rights and statutory protections.
